Local residents and village officials shared harrowing firsthand accounts of the assault with independent news outlet Middle East Eye, detailing the scale and brutality of the attack. Mohammed Turabi, a Sarra resident whose home was directly targeted, said settlers hurled stones and Molotov cocktails at his property, setting ablaze his courtyard, ground floor, and parked vehicle. Miraculously, Turabi and his entire family escaped without physical injury, but the attack left them deeply traumatized. Critically, Turabi confirmed that Israeli military personnel were positioned nearby throughout the violence and made no effort to intervene to stop the attackers or protect Palestinian civilians.
