Senior Chinese legislator meets delegation of politicians from Pacific island countries

In a significant diplomatic engagement, Li Hongzhong, Vice-Chairman of the National People’s Congress Standing Committee and member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, met with a delegation of politicians from Pacific island countries in Beijing on Friday. The delegation was led by Stephen Felix, Speaker of Vanuatu’s Parliament.
