The film is produced under Haasan’s banner, Raaj Kamal Films International, marking 44 years of the production house. Rajinikanth and Haasan last appeared together in full-fledged roles in the 1979 film ‘Allaudinaum Arputha Vilakkum’. Since then, they have made cameo appearances in each other’s films, including Rajinikanth’s ‘Thillu Mullu’ (1981).
