Dubai’s Global Village announces timings for Ramadan 2026

Dubai’s premier cultural entertainment destination, Global Village, has unveiled comprehensive operational plans for Ramadan 2026, currently marking its landmark 30th season. The sprawling park will implement special hours throughout the holy month, operating from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM Sunday through Wednesday, with extended hours until 2:00 AM from Thursday to Saturday.

The venue will undergo a complete thematic transformation featuring traditional Islamic motifs, illuminated lantern displays, crescent moon installations, and ambient lighting designed to create a spiritually resonant atmosphere. A key innovation for this year’s Ramadan celebration is the introduction of ‘Multaqa Global Village,’ a complimentary tent-style communal space inspired by traditional majlis gatherings. Situated adjacent to the Main Stage, this area provides comfortable seating arrangements enhanced by festoon lighting, creating an ideal environment for social interaction during iftar, suhoor, or evening visits.

Entertainment programming will showcase culturally significant performances including orchestral arrangements, traditional Oud and Nay instrumentalists, harp and violin ensembles, and the visually striking Tannoura dance show. The schedule features regular presentations of the ‘Akher Kalam’ show hosted by Maitha Mohammed at 11:00 PM from February 18 through March 18, alongside the interactive ‘Al Mandoos Live Game Show’ with host Abdulla Esmaeel at 9:30 PM across three consecutive weekends beginning February 20. A spectacular drone light show will illuminate the night sky on February 20 at 9:30 PM.

Culinary offerings will encompass over 250 dining establishments spanning Restaurant Plaza, food kiosks, and pavilion stalls, providing diverse iftar and suhoor options representing global cuisines. Retail experiences across 30 cultural pavilions will feature Ramadan-themed merchandise including decorative items, traditional attire, gift selections, and specialty food products.

The destination will continue its wellness initiative with the Ramadan Step Challenge, accessible through the Global Village mobile application, rewarding visitors who achieve 10,000 steps during their visit with special incentives.
