On Wednesday, the Interior Ministry announced the ban, citing the organization’s promotion of antisemitism, discrimination against women, and hostility toward sexual minorities as threats to the nation’s constitutional order. Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt emphasized that the group’s advocacy for Islamic law over German law, particularly in areas affecting women, posed a significant danger to societal cohesion.
