The United States has witnessed a significant surge in the deportation of Irish citizens, with figures revealing a more than 50% increase in 2025 compared to the previous year. According to data from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), 99 Irish nationals were deported between January and September 2025, up from 60 in the 2024 fiscal year.
