The incident occurred on October 14, when the young girl was reportedly submerged in the pool for approximately 10 minutes before a hotel guest noticed her and initiated CPR. She was immediately rushed to a hospital on the island and later transferred to Crete for further medical attention. Despite being moved to a hospital in the UK, she succumbed to her injuries 12 days later, passing away on Sunday.
