A violent late-night home invasion has left a 60-year-old resident injured in South Wentworthville, western Sydney, after two attackers disguised in balaclavas broke into his property and opened fire. Emergency services responded to reports of the shooting on Boronia Street just after 9:10 PM on Sunday, rushing the wounded man to hospital for urgent treatment.
