    Armed Robbery Suspects Denied Bail in All Saints Case

    Ernesto Estevan Lawrence and Maurice Belgrave Jr. have been remanded in custody after being charged in connection with an armed robbery at the All Saints Service Station.

    The robbery, which occurred on 28 June, involved the theft of more than $4,000 and the firing of a single gunshot, with no reported injuries.

    Both men face aggravated robbery and ammunition possession charges, while Lawrence also faces firearm-related charges. The suspects will appear again in court on 24 September.

    Authorities continue to investigate and encourage anyone with information to contact local law enforcement.

    Pete Cummings granted bail with conditions after marine equipment theft

    Pete Cummings, 28, charged with stealing over $21,000 in equipment from a marine business, has been granted bail with strict conditions.

    The Nut Grove resident must report to police thrice weekly, avoid English Harbour, and maintain distance from the victim.

    Police allege Cummings broke into Marine Power Service on 2 May, stealing a TIG welding plant, power drill, office furniture, and cash totaling $21,580.

    He appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel and was released on $30,000 bail. The trial date is set for 24 September.

    Yorks Man Jailed Over WWII-Era Firearm and Ammunition

    A 25-year-old man from Yorks has been sentenced to prison after police discovered a World War II-era firearm and ammunition during a raid at his home.

    Malique Challenger was handed a three-year and eight-month sentence at His Majesty’s Prison following his admission of possessing a .45 Remington pistol and seven rounds of ammunition, three of which were hollow-point bullets.

    The discovery was made on 21 June 2025, when police executed a search warrant at Challenger’s residence and found the weapon and ammunition concealed in the kitchen.

    The court described the firearm as dangerous and noted the severity of the hollow-point rounds, which are designed to cause maximum injury.

    Challenger also received an additional 12-month sentence for the ammunition offence, to run concurrently.

    Jamal Prince Sentenced to 3 years plus for Illegal Firearm

    Two men have been sentenced to prison following separate convictions for firearm and ammunition offences.

    Jamall Prince, 39, of Seatons, was arrested on 17 June during a police operation targeting a suspect.

    Officers observed three men together when one fled and attempted to hide between parked vehicles.

    Although Prince was not found with any weapons, a search of the area uncovered a Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol hidden in nearby brush.

    He was sentenced to three years and five months in prison for possession of a firearm, and one year for possession of ammunition. The sentences will run concurrently.

    A 14-year-old boy has been charged with carrying an offensive weapon after being found with an imitation firearm in Lightfoot.

    The incident happened around 10:20pm on 28 June, according to police.

    The teenager was arrested at the scene and is expected to appear before the court at a later date.

    Three arrested after armed robbery at Brownie’s Bakery

    Three men have been arrested following an armed robbery at Brownie’s Bakery on Herberts Main Road.

    Police say a masked gunman stole about $3,000 in cash around 8:20 AM after threatening bakery supervisor Tashua Benjamin with a handgun and ordering her to empty the register.

    The suspect fled on foot but was later linked to a getaway car—a white Toyota Passo—stopped on Jonas Road.

    Officers arrested 30-year-old Estevan Ernesto Lawrence of St Kitts, and Antiguans Morris Belgrave, 18, and Ryan Richards, 17. A large sum of cash was recovered.

    The suspects remain in custody as investigations continue. The vehicle was also seized.

    Police are urging anyone with information to contact them.
